The Jiangsu Provincial Representative Conference of the CPC was held in Nanjing on June 22-23. Qiu Yunjie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Changhong Intelligence, attended the conference as a representative.

The meeting elected 71 delegates to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and the candidates Wang Qishan and Liu Qibao nominated by the Party Central Committee were elected.

It is of great and far-reaching significance for the whole party to rally more closely around the Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, to unite and lead the people to continue their struggle to build a modern socialist country in an all-round way, to win the great victory of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Wu Zhenglong emphasized that Party organizations at all levels and the masses of Party members in the province should unite more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, fully implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and deeply understand the decisive significance of the "two establishments", effectively enhance the "four consciousnesses", strengthen the "four self-confidences", and achieve the "two maintenances", unite and lead the people of the whole province to resolutely take up the new mission, strive to write a new chapter and hand over an answer sheet that will set General Secretary Xi Jinping and The Party Central Committee at ease and satisfy the people of the whole province, which will be a solid welcome with practical actions toward the successful convening of the Party's 20th National Congress.
