Jiangsu Changhong Machinery Design Institute Co., LTD., founded in March 2000, has the qualification of class-A in mechanical industry design and class-B in architectural design, both of which were issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. It is the first private design institute specializing in the planning and design of automobile factories, production lines of welding, painting and final assembly, as well as the energy-saving and environmentally-friendly equipment in China's domestic automobile equipment industry. In December 2021, its branch was established in Changzhou.
Changhong Design Institute has several registered engineers, 68 middle and senior engineers, and more than one hundred specialized technicians, it is equipped with more than one hundred sets of Pro/E, CAD and software for professional drawing and graphic management.
